Attendance Tip of the Week

Students who attend regularly feel more connected. School isn’t just about academics—it’s about friendships, teamwork, and relationships with teachers. Being present every day helps your child feel like an important part of the class.

Students will not earn the PBIS incentive, The Boo Bash, if they have more than 18 hours of unexcused hours this quarter.

Students are considered excessively absent in a school year when they miss 38 hours in a month or 65 hours in a school year. This includes both excused and unexcused hours.

Students are considered habitually truant if they miss 42 hours in a month or 72 hours in a school year. This includes only unexcused hours.

Reading Tip of the Week

Be a 'word detective.' When you come across a tricky word, work together to use context clues or break it into smaller parts to figure out the meaning.

Math Tip of the Week

Have your child teach you a math skill they know. Teaching someone else is one of the best ways to learn.

PBIS Expectations

Did you know that PBIS stands for Positive Behavior Intervention and Supports? As a school, we have school wide PBIS expectations throughout the building. You may hear your student talking about these things.
